I want to wish each of you a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving week.I will be offline completely after tomorrow for awhile.Hopefully just a few days.We are switching back to dial up internet(briefly we hope)to help out with finances here.Living on one income(my husband's disability check)is a challenge and sometimes we have to make changes like this to make it each month. That being said I am still so very thankful for so many things.I have friends and family who love me.A roof over my head(granted it's a very small 1 bedroom apartment but it's warm and dry).I am loved by God and by our cat Shadow. We have a vehicle to drive(It's a 1994 Ford Aerostar but it is warm, dry and running well at present). We have food to eat(thank You Lord for food banks).Clothes to wear(thank You Lord for thrift and consignment shops).A bed to sleep in(it's a few years old but oh so comfy as we slumber). We can all find things to be thankful for this season.May God fill each of your hearts with His joy and His gratitude as we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the USA this week.
Blessings Abundant~Sharon

Oh Sharon, I'm so glad you're here today. I was thinking of you this morning and wishing I could stop by to say hello. I understand the challenges of living on a disability check because my dear cousin and her husband are doing the same and we have been helping them get things worked out to move from Southern California to a home not far from us. One of God's blessings is that they will be here in just over a week and He has been working out each detail, one at a time. I pray he does the same for you as you walk with Him each day. I'll miss you until you are back again. Be blessed and have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day filled with His best blessings and the hope He gives. ~Adrienne~
What can I say Adrienne...your words blessed me immensely!I am so glad you will have more family near! It's wonderful that your cousins are moving north and will be near to you and hubby. It is a challenge to live on my hubby's checks but we've been doing it for a few years now and have always seen God's provision.Thank you for thinking of me.Blessings~Sharon
Hey girl.. good to see you here... Thankfulness is a state of the heart and not something from our environment.. You have a thankful heart and that makes you rich...... I pray that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your day is filled with the riches of the Lord!
Amen Denise!Good to see you!I hope your Thanksgiving is the same!!!Bless you~Sharon
Hello Sharon, It such a blessing to hear from you again. I too have lots to be thankful for and I love this time of year to refocus me on those things, like family and warm houses and a faithful savior. May you be blessed in abundance this week. Hugs to you!
Amen Teri! And the same to you dear friend.I am on borrowed time on my computer as Comcast will be here in awhile to take my high speed modem away.I will be offline for a few days and then be back on dial up as soon as I get a disc in the mail.See you soon Teri!Love~Sharon
Amen!
May you have a very blessed Thanksgiving.
PS. I have an award for you on my blog.
Brenda!I am so happy to see you have stopped by and left a comment!Woo Hoo!:-)I just adore your blog and read it daily or nearly daily anyhow.I was offline almost a week and am now back on with dial up but praise God for that!Love you Brenda!~Sharon
Just checking in to say hey... Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving....
Be well my friend,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Hugs
Hey Denise..thanks for stopping by!We had a very nice, albeit small Thanksgiving.Just husband and I and daughter and granddaughter. No one has a big enough place to handle everyone anymore so we all each eat with our own families alone.Still nice though...Blessings Sharon
Thank you Teri...I will stop by to pick it up as soon as I can...Blessings~Sharon
Even amongst your depth of gratitude I can see it is not easy for you. blogging with dial u p would be expensive too.
Hope yu will be back soon and in the meantime blessings to you.
Sharon,
I am also thankful for the many friends we have who know Christ as Savior...
if we depended on our finances to make us happy I'm afraid most of us would be in a deep state of depression...but we know that God is in control and knows of our needs before we have to ask...and He will provide...
Yes, and we can be thankful for the food banks, and the consignment shops, etc. etc...
Barbara:
You have discerned correctly. In the midst of my copious and heartfelt gratitude it is still not an easy path we walk.At times it is fraught with disappointments BUT having His joy in my heart and His peace makes even the hard times easier to bear.I do not believe it will always be this way and that gives me hope abundant!Bless you and thank you~Sharon
Amen Mimi to all you have said!I have often wondered if perhaps that is not the lesson we are to learn in all of this stuff we've faced. That true happiness and joy does not reside in the dollar amount in our bank account or other equally fleeting things. His presence is what gives the supreme joy!His word says that in His presence is FULLNESS of joy! That says nothing about pleasant circumstances!Love&blessings~Sharon
