It Started Early

This is yours truly in about the 3rd grade I think.I am in the school library doing what I still love to do.Don't you just love the poncho and knee socks??? LOL Gotta love the late 1960's!So, as you can see,my love of books started early. And it continues to this day.Now if I could just find the time.:-)

Hello Sharon, glad you found me. I am taking a blog break from Samaritan Women...... I needed to rest in the Lord and allow my spirit man to rest and refresh...... I was poured out and tired and the Lord pulled me away for a while.... I had become a Martha and needed to find Mary......... I will be back in a couple of weeks.... I so miss ALL you gals and have had withdrawals from my blog buddies....

Pray that you are happy and well....

Add glasses, subtract the bangs and it could be me! Independent reading began for me at age 4 -- scared my parents to death. It hasn't stopped yet. I'm resigned to living life with a book in hand at all times. ; D

I recognize that same look, too.

My mother was not a reader so she never could understand how I could "get away from it all" with a book.

So, I understood when I couldn't locate my daughter at that age and found her IN A TREE, reading!!

Good to"see"you!I cannot recall at what age I began to read.It must have been very early though for I seemed to have always been able to read.I cannot even recall learning how as it came so naturally to me.:-)Love~Sharon

So glad you stopped by!Always love to see you either here or at your awesome blog.My mother thought there was something wrong with me as I preferred reading to playing with kids or toys generally. LOL She read but not much.Mostly Reader's Digest as I recall. LOL My granddaughter LOVES to read however and I encourage it in her!Love~Sharon
