"Love is kindled in a flame, and ardency is its life. Flame is the air which true Christian experience breathes. It feeds on fire; it can withstand anything rather than a feeble flame; but when the surrounding atmosphere is frigid or lukewarm, it dies, chilled and starved to its vitals. True prayer must be aflame.

Just saw this. Beautiful picture and prose.
Thanks for sharing it, Sharon.
How's writing going?
Good Morning Chris~
Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words. Our pastor had spoken on love the day I posted this.Had to share this neat quote I'd found. The writing is at a standstill almost.Been a busy season lately with loads of doctor's appointments and such.I need to avail myself of some writing prompts to spark my creativity.I just love when the words flow, pouring forth on to the page. But when they don't...sigh...I am sure you understand.:-)Have a blessed day!
Love~Sharon :-)
Very cool photo. Maybe a likeness of a lamp the 10 virgins (parable) used.
Intriguing words.
Thanks for stopping by my place. *smile*
Hi Sparrow!
Thanks so very much for stopping by!I think this oil lamp could be very like the ones in the parable!Have a blessed day!

Hi Sharon, thanks so much for your visit. I usual a nasal mask with my CPAP and oxygen too although I haven't used it to many days this past month due to my allergies. The oppressive heat makes wearing the mask hard too, because like you I have no problems with it unless I feel like I can't breath. I need to use a chin strap, but it's to hot. I am a natural mouth breather. I enjoy your blog so much and bookmarked it. Your posts are very soothing an inspiring. God Bless. ~hugs~
Good Morning Nancze!
I am so happy to see you!Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind comments.:-)I want it to be an inspiring and soothing place. This world can be a rough place sometimes. We all need a"break"sometimes.A place to come and be encouraged.A place to rest.My bi-pap mask also has a chin strap on it.I have'nt too much trouble heat wise butsometimes it does slip off in the night which produces little leaks that wake me up!I use my mask/oxygen every time I sleep.Even when napping.Have since I started on the bi-pap back in April.Husband says I'm a toughie...LOL...on some things he may be right!!!I can definitely be determined.LOLHave a blessed day in Him.
Blessings&Love~Sharon
